Tears for Fears du nouveau ..
We were informed by Mayfield that Tears for Fears are having a new album
out soon. Lead singer Roland Orzabal has just finished the new album and
is now looking for a record label. Roland has been recording the album
with Alan Griffiths (co-writer) and Nick D'Virgilio (drummer) in
Roland's home recording studio "Neptune's Kitchen". He is considering
some different album titles, and would like the fans input. A voting
page will soon be available on Mayfield, so do check it out. Roland
isn't promising that one of these will be the "one", but he would like
to hear what you think. Other member Curt Smith has already released his
new EP titled "Aeroplane" which has only been released in Canada. It
includes 2 reworked Tears For Fears tracks: "Pale Shelter" and
"Everybody Wants To Rule The World".

NEW ORDER du nouveau ..
Sebastien Boisvert posted to the Ceremony mailing list new information about the new NewOrder songs
already written / demoed :
"The band has written 7 new songs & 2 instrumentals. They have not yet recorded and produced the final versions
of these, at least from what Tom Atencio, New Order's North American Manager, told me. The tracks name are, so
far:
1. Out of Order (some sort of post-industrial techno with a catchy melody)
2. Blue Velvet (classic New Order with lots of Hooky's bass)
3. The Deepest Sea (real ambient melancholic epic -- 9 minutes)
4. Falling (melancholic disco)
5. It's Your Fate (reminds of The Eternal and 24 Hours on Closer)
6. Escape While You Can (very guitarish)
7. Tell Me (Synth waves)
8. Synthesized (instrumental)
9. Off The Record (instrumental)
The band expects to complete the recording of about 15 tracks before spring, and looking forward a full-scale TOUR
next summer, with the release of the album in late spring, probably early June."
