Un Tribute pour OMD
An OMD cover album is being put together by Ninthwave Records and
Synthphony Records for a fall release. If you would like to be considered
for inclusion please send your track by the end of August 2000. If anyone
wants to have a go on "If You Leave", the better, as there are already
enough obscure covers. Tracks will be chosen based on quality and time
available on the CD. All proceeds from the sale of the CD (after
manufacturing costs) will go to Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, so there
will be no payment to the bands themselves.

Une nouvelle compilation pour Midge Ure
ex Ultravox
Information du site officiel :
This CD is a brand new 17-track compilation, but
it's not just the same old mixture of singles and
album tracks. Oh no. EMI and Crimson Records have let us call the shots
entirely with regards to track listing and design of artwork, so we've mopped up
all the tracks, single edits and B-sides that never made it to CD. We've split
them into "studio" and "live" sets. The only track we couldn't squeeze on was
Mood Music, originally the B-side of the No Regrets single - this is purely
down to time available on the CD format, adding this track would take it over 79
minutes, at which point the quality deteriorates - and EMI don't want to take any
risks with such a high-profile release. Two tracks, All Fall Down and Strange
Brew, were remastered from vinyl as the original master tapes have been lost -
but you can't tell from the quality, Abbey Road have done an excellent job.
